  • Is Sanswire still developing a High Altitude Airship to be stationed at 60,000 feet?
  • Sanswire continues its development of a stratospheric airship, the Stratellite™.  Our spiral development program is designed so that development being done on lower altitude ships is applicable to a High Altitude Airship (sometimes called a High Altitude Platform).
  • What is Sanswire’s relationship with Global Telesat.
  • Global Telesat is a provider of satellite-based tracking services. GTC is interested in our airships to supplement their offerings. They previously paid us for a study of integrating their equipment into an airship. That study has been provided.
  • What are Sanswire’s financing plans?
  • We will be looking to various groups to raise additional working capital for the company.
  • What exactly is the "Florida Near Space Coast Initiative"?
  • The Florida Near Space Coast Initiative is an effort on the local, state and federal level to promote the Central Florida area currently known as the “Space Coast” as the “Near Space Coast.”  The Near Space Coast will utilize the resources of the companies already present in the area. By getting state and federal funding for near space initiatives, Central Florida can keep the extensive engineering talent that has been developed to support the space program.
  • What other products have been developed by TAO that are part of the Joint Venture?
  • Along with the SAS-51 (Lotte) low altitude airship and the segmented airships, TAO has developed an autonomous control system for airships, the Precision Air Drop Delivery parachute system, a vector thrust mount and the fuel gas system.  These are all actually components of the airships that can be used in other applications.
  • What is being done to monetize these different products?
  • We have not begun marketing these components separately. Our concentration has been on airship development. As these components are commercialized we will begin to explore their application outside of our airships.
  • How will Sanswire communicate with shareholders?
  • The Company intends to update its website with information that would interest shareholders and continue to answer questions through its director of Investor Relations.  The company will make press releases when appropriate. Additionally, the company is looking at initiating quarterly conference calls where shareholders will be able to submit questions.
  • What are Sanswire’s goals for 2010?
  • The Company will continue to market and develop its airships. We believe that we have a unique airship platform that fulfill various mission profiles and are working to get the message to potential customers.
  • What are the plans for the SA2 that was sent to Germany?
  • The SA2 is a unique airship design which could be used for testing of various electronics at low or mid-altitude.
  • How will Sanswire actually manufacture its airships?
  • Initially, the airships will be produced by TAO Technologies in Germany. TAO has been developed the specialized capabilities to fabricate many parts of the airship and has the technical knowledge to assemble them, as well as possessing the facilities to build and test the ship. When production increases manufacture and assembly will be moved to a dedicated facility.

  • The original corporate entity that evolved into Sanswire was incorporated in Nevada in 1979 as Terra West Homes. In 1995, its name became American Diversified Group, and in 2002, GlobeTel Communications, when it was also reincorporated as a Delaware corporation. On September 22, 2008 we filed a Certificate of Merger with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware pursuant to which our wholly owned subsidiary, Sanswire Corp., a Delaware corporation, was merged into us. As a result of the filing of the Certificate of Merger, our corporate name was changed to Sanswire Corp.
